Last month, we announced our collaboration with Brunel Business School, part of Brunel University, on a study and publication of a ‘Boardroom AI Adoption Whitepaper’. We’re excited to announce the kicking off of the research phase of this project.
The Research Phase
The research plan involves interviewing members of the board community from organisations of various sizes across the private, public, and third sectors. These interviewees hold key roles such as Chair, CEO, Non-Executive Director, Board Secretary, Board Advisors and Governance Professionals.
The research aims to explore their motivations, challenges, and potential technical solutions for adopting AI systems to enhance meeting effectiveness, board insights, governance, compliance and other critical board functions. Additionally, the study seeks to determine the improvements that integrating AI into the technology used in the boardroom can bring compared to legacy technology standards.
About the whitepaper
The whitepaper will serve as the foundation to establish guidelines for AI use in boardroom settings, production of a set of Boardroom AI Assistant System Guidelines and a policy report on AI Adoption for Board Governance. The study is split into two phases: Research and analysis plus the publication of case studies.
